Re:  Confirmed 8^th Graders Welcome to Join HS Youth Group

Dear 8^th Grade Student,

Congratulations on your recent Confirmation!  What a great time in your life as you become a young adult in your faith and prepare for H.S. next September!

My name is Don Norbut and I am the H.S. Youth Minister at St. Clement.  I am writing on behalf of the adult volunteers in our group and myself to invite you to join our H.S. Youth Group Now or in September 2011 when you enter H.S.

As we have done over the past few years, we are inviting newly Confirmed 8^th Graders to join the parish HS Youth Group for the remainder of the year starting at the November or December meeting. 

Our next meeting is Sunday November 21st.  The topic for the evening is “Natural Disasters – A Warning from God” and our discussions during the evening will revolve around many of the natural disasters that are occurring around the world and whether or not we can see God’s hand in these events.  Refreshments will also be served.

Our Group meets once a month in the Parish Center Annex from 7 to 9 PM on the 3rd Sunday of the month.  The remaining meetings this year are December thru June.  Typically, a discussion topic, movie or activity is selected for each meeting.

This year’s adult volunteers are Julie & Mark Chidichimo, Ken Smolinski, Diane McNamara, Laura Loehle, Sue Zwosta, and Robyn Russo.

If you would like to join, please complete and return the enclosed Registration Form or join us at our November Meeting.  No fee is required.

We hope you decide to join us on November 21st or at a future meeting and continue to Learn & Live Your Faith.

Christmas Caroling at Victoria House Nursing Home – Saturday December 18^th at 2 pm and pizza afterward at Scotto’s.
